Walking on Dartmoor

Dartmoor National Park is a truly fabulous place to go walking whether you are looking for a family stroll, following a woodland or reservoir trail, joining a guided walk, or heading off for a challenging hike over remote moorland.  With over 47,000 hectares of open country set in dramatic, rugged landscape, there really is something for everyone.

There are number of walks that we can advise you on straight out of the door from the Inn but if you would like to spend a little time planning some walks before you arrive then here are some good websites to get you started:

We have so much going on down here at The Rock Inn it would be a shame to miss out, simply enter your email and keep in the know.

WE ARE OPEN
Thank you to our loyal customers for their support over the last few months.
In-house dining numbers are restricted and open to residents of the Inn and a limited number of outside guests with reservations. We are now open everyday but closed to non-residents 3pm-5.30pm and by law we are now closed every night at 10pm.
The health & safety of our guests, staff and community is vitally important to us and a full risk assessment has been conducted and our Covid-19 Policy is available on this website. Please note that we are operating a one-way system throughout our building which will involve going up several steps.
